Connecting to a turntable
Built-in phono equalizer
The SC-CX700 features a built-in phono equalizer amp that supports MM cartridges, making it easy to connect to turntables. Remember to connect the phono earth terminal for optimal performance.
One-touch mute for convenient vinyl listening
The top panel features a one-touch mute button, handy when you want to quickly mute the sound, change the record, etc.
Connect to a TV instantly through HDMI ARC
The SC-CX700 is equipped with HDMI ARC, allowing you to enjoy superlative TV sound quality without any difficulty. Simply connect the SC-CX700 to the HDMI ARC port on the TV with an HDMI cable, change the TV’s sound output to PCM, and you’re done!
Speaker Settings
Speaker L/R switching
You can switch between Left/Right for each of the two speakers to suit your installation environment. When the primary speaker is set to either L/R, the secondary speaker will be set to the opposite.
Wireless/Wired speaker connections
Left and right speakers are automatically connected wirelessly when the power is turned on. If you want to enjoy higher sound quality, you can connect the left and right speakers with the included Speaker Link cable to enable playback up to 192kz/24bit.
Installation precautions
The optical receiver on the SC-CX700’s remote controller is located near the installation surface on the front of the unit. The remote controller may not work if you place anything in front of the optical receiver.
